I’m James, a marketing graduate working in the telecoms industry. I enjoy sport, travel, coffee, technology and marketing and have spent the past four years exploring the world we live in. I started this blog to share stories of life’s adventures and discuss contemporary issues as well as displaying photos and videos of what I’m up too.
Over the past four years, I’ve been incredibly lucky and privileged to visit some of the best places in the world. I first caught the travel bug visiting Uganda for a month as part of an independent World Challenge expedition. My time in central Africa inspired me to continue to see the rest of the world and resulted in me visiting Moscow, La Rochelle and Groningen in 2013 , Hangzhou, Shanghai, Prague and Barbados in 2014, Meribel, Edinburgh, Lanzarote, as well as various locations during an America and Canada road trip in 2015 before visiting Cape Town, Grenada, Lille and Sofia in 2016.
My travels have inspired some of the writing, photos and videos on this blog.
As a marketing professional working at one of the world’s biggest telecoms organisations, I couldn’t not include some marketing content on my blog. I’ll keep you updated with the latest industry ongoings as well as some of the things I’m learning and working on whilst on the graduate scheme.
As an avid coffee drinker, I enjoy a fresh cup of joe on a regular basis and like to find a local coffee shop wherever I am. I’ll blog occasionally about it but if you’d like to meet up for a coffee contact me!
My main love is and always has been sport, as an avid swimmer I have a particular passion for open water swimming competing in races around the South East and London. I also enjoy watching football and support Southend United, you’ll find an article or two on the mighty shrimpers in this blog. Finally, I’m in the minority in the UK as I love watching ice hockey and support Coventry Blaze (EIHL) and the Boston Bruins (NHL).
Thank you for visiting my blog, please leave a comment, like a blog post and interact with me on social media!
